Invertebrate Pocket Reference App Reviews

This is a VERY nice app for saltwater tankers. It provides almost EVERY type of invert and displays very accurate information. I was second guessing this due to the 2.99 price but its worth it, especially when your out looking for stuff to add to your tank and see something wierd, now you can just find it right then, right there! Great app. I would really really like to see a fish app to. A+

Easy to navigate application gives you clear pictures and concise useful descriptions. Room for growth and the approachable developer has lots on the way. Looking forward to seeing corals and fish in additional applications. Price is right. Books on these topics at the LFS run $40 each. Very handy when shopping or peering into the tank trying to figure out what in the world that new critter is that just showed up. Buy it!

I am a reef hobbyist and this is one of the best apps I have seen in a while. Does exactly what it says, concise and to the point info with pics, when you need a quick, pertinent reference. I will be waiting for similar apps on the reef fish and corals.

This app is everything it says it is and nothing less. That alone gives it a good rating. On tap of that, however, the content is spot on, the interface is simple but provides what you need, and the images are large enough (and clear enough) to truly be used as a hobby resource. Great work and I look forward to future updates...hopefully fish and more corals!

This is the most valuable app on my iTouch. Trying to keep track of this info in your head is impossible. Now whenever I have a question or need info it is in my pocket! Perfect!!! I can hardly wait for the marine fish & coral apps.

A really helpful reference, with excellent photos. Perfect for preventing (or endorsing) that impulse buy on my trip to the reef store. Looking forward to the coral & fish versions. Im still looking for an app to keep track of marine reef aquarium testing results, maybe this developer will write me one soon. PLEASE DO. Id like an app to keep track of: pH, temp, calcium, alkalinity, SG, phosphate, nitrate, nitrite, ammonia and dates of bulb changes and water changes, for at least 2 tanks. Ideally, an online backup, graphing ability and a task scheduler with reminder alarms. Thats my wish list for the next app, this invertebrate app is already great. Thank You. iGabby

Off to a great start, but could use a lot more content! If this is the level of information that will be provided please consider combining this data with your upcoming coral and fish apps and charge more $... Otherwise, the screen realestate might be more valuabe to one good reef keeping website. I do not mean to discourage you but, the information is VERY basic at just a few common knowledge sentences per species and the pictures could be higher resolution and zoomable. I would not mind installing a larger app to have some great information available offline. Please consider making one large compendium to be more valuable on our tiny phone screens and please keep the content coming with updates. Id love to re-review and give a high five stars!!!!

This is a great app for salt water aquarium lovers. It would be nice if they expanded the library more. If they added coral and fishes it would be perfect.

Good idea but needs more of everything. Also needs better pictures. Keep up good work and get us an update. Also improve search.

They show corals on the cover yet they dont have any. Also it would be nice to flip through each category without exiting each time.

Cool app, but I was really hoping to find info on their native habitats & where they come from/can be found. Also, some of the pictures could be better. Multiple pics would be nice too.
